New York, NY, September 15, 2015 (Newswire.com) - While arvato Systems has been working on the YaaS platform already since the beginning of 2015, hybris, an SAP company and leader in Commerce solutions, opened it up to a broader audience with today's launch announcement of the Open Beta phase.
arvato Systems’ activities on YaaS began in January 2015 with the exclusive collaboration with hybris labs on the in-store task management system TKT, which is part of hybris labs’ Changing Room Omni-Commerce solution.
Since then, arvato Systems has assembled a team of experts to build and operate a Microservices-based Architecture using latest technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Container Services and Docker containers to achieve a fully automated continuous delivery setup. This enables the arvato Systems team to develop, test, and release fast to market without sacrificing quality.
With the launch of the YaaS Open Beta platform, arvato Systems is launching its first three services to the cloud community for public use:
arvato Inventory Service
- Manage and monitor stock per storage bin
- Check availability and perform inventory transactions
- Review transaction history
arvato SMS Service
- Programmatically send and receive short text messages (SMS) with support for over 20 countries
arvato Avalara AVS Service
- Validate addresses using the Avalara address verification, for example to verify shipping and billing addresses during checkout
arvato Systems Microservices were developed in close collaboration with the hybris YaaS development team to complement the hybris Core and Commerce offerings.
